I wish I was more comfortable with talking about myself, so here it goes (lol). I don’t consider myself to be the most interesting individual and I probably don’t have traits that stick out from the many other talented artists out there. What I do love, is a good story. I love stories so much that it makes complete sense that books are a part of who I am. I love all kinds of books, with preference to fantasy, romance, and some sci-fi. What’s a good book without a nice large iced coffee, amiright? (refer back to how I have zero original traits). I also am a mother and a wife and it’s a part of my identity that I am most proud of. Being a mother to my three beautiful babies has been the most humbling and raw experience I have ever had the privilege to live in.

With all that in mind, I find that I do hone in on those fleeting moments. How quick it can pass us by. I think that is why I picked up the camera. I didn’t want the memory to go away. I remember watching my husband the moment our first born entered the world. I remember the way it felt to be standing mountainside with my husband moments after saying “I do”. I remember that love is a feeling I couldn’t quite explain. So I want you to remember those moments as I have. But the best I can do for you in that realm, is to freeze it with my camera.

I didn’t go to school to become a photographer. As a matter of fact, my College diploma is a Bachelor’s in Biological Science with the concentration on pre-med. So, I did have to be self-taught. I continue to learn in this field with the seven years I’ve been in this business. I can’t promise I’ll be like every photographer there is, but what I can give, is the images from those fleeting moments in your life.
